Cologne is a hand poured, vegan soy wax candle with an earthy and slightly spicy aroma. Cologne will provide you with a pleasing and therapeutic fragrance to soothe and soften your mood.
A natural, vegan vegetable wax candle made from ingredients that are carefully and ethically sourced. This 300ml soy candle has burn time of approximately 50 hours.
Infused with Bergamot, Oakwood, Leather and Tobacco oils, this invigorating soy candle has a masculine scent with a slightly spicy undertone.
Within aromatherapy, the Bergamot and Oakwood oils in this hand poured soy wax candle have many individual healing properties. When combined, these oils have stimulating and positive cerebral effect helping to alleviate stress, fatigue and depression. The Leather and Tobacco oils are typically fragrance oils, designed to add warmth and depth to the two essential oils within the candle.
Bergamot Oil
Bergamot oil “Citrus Bergamici” is derived from a small orange tree, native to tropical Asia. This oil was first sold in the city of Bergamo, Italy giving it its name. Bergamot oil is extracted from the peel of the bergamot orange. Light green, yellow in colour and a fresh sweet fruity but slightly spicy scent. Bergamot is typically used in both male and female perfumes and colognes. Bergamot is a soothing oil, it is analgesic, antidepressant, anti-septic, carminative, tonic.
Within aromatherapy practitioners believe that by inhaling or absorbing through the skin, this oil transmits signal to the Limbic System, the region of the brain that regulates emotions inducing Psychological effects, reducing pain, stress, depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue. Increases the feel-good hormone Serotonin. As well as being an inflammatory, reducing cholesterol and insomnia.
Oakwood Oil
Oakwood oil known as therapeutic and a protective oil. Derived from the English oak tree native to Western Europe, originating in France. The oil is antique brown in colour and has a pleasing natural aroma. Intense and rich precious wood with soft vanilla and whisky tones.
Within aromatherapy this pleasing natural aroma we get from the oil has a positive psychological effect on the brain. Stimulating the brain to trigger positive emotions. Therapeutic notes – demulcent: soothing and softening, gives a protective coating to the throat. Expectorant: a medicine which promotes sputum via the air passages used to treat coughs and protect the lungs.
Leather & Tobacco Oils
Leather and tobacco oils are generally fragrance oils not essential/aromatherapy oils. Typically used in candles, perfumes and colognes. Usually derived from other oils with dry woody scents.
