New to Sienna’s Rose – Accelerated Laser Lipo Body Sculpting
Laser lipolysis is the use of a low level laser (LLL) to disrupt the cell membrane of the subcutaneous fat cells. Lipolysis is the process of where fat stored in cells is broken down.
What is Accelerated Laser Lipo Body Sculpting?
The laser lipolysis device emits a low level laser, which penetrates the skin to a depth of approximately 8-9mm. This is just deep enough to reach the subcutaneous fat layer.
The membranes (cell walls) of the fat cells (Adipocytes) are disrupted and develop tiny holes, releasing the contents of the cells. The cell contents; fatty acids, Triglycerides and water, spill out from the porous cell walls into the interstitial space.
This mechanism of action is not “liquefaction of fat”, but it’s the instant emptying of the fat cells, rather than the destruction of them.
The inter-cellular fat causes the cell to lose its round shape. This procedure does not affect the neighbouring structures such as the skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves.
What to expect?
Alongside the laser lipo treatment, you need to undertake some form of exercise to raise your heart rate to increase your metabolic rate.
Your body will use the fuel in your blood stream, which includes the fatty acids and Triglycerides released by the laser lipo treatment process. Once this has happened, your liver will begin to target the remaining fat deposits.
The more exercise that you do between treatments, the better your results will be.
At Sienna’s Rose we recommend 8 – 12 sessions of laser lipo for optimum results. Two sessions per week for 4 – 6 weeks. Each session time is 20 – 30 minutes, which should be followed up with at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise within 24 hours.
You can choose to boost your inch loss by adding ultrasonic cavitation. This comes highly recommended alongside laser lipo as it works to pulverise the weakened fat cells and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
